Fall 2010

A lot of things have been happening this fall, Its been really busy!! I have been working a little more and with all the kids activities and appointments, you know the ususal stuff. I am so not ready for winter, but its coming anyways:( The next three days we are in an indian summer YAY a little warmer.

I love the fall colors they are beautiful. It feels not to hot or not to cold! Its just wonderful!


I finally got Riley to the doctor to help him with his hyperness so he can do well in school. Hopefully things get better!!

Here is Riley's Halloween costume. He didn't get to use it though. I was told to keep him home from school cause the teacher couldn't handle him during the Halloween party. Well he went to his dads house that weekend. He was suppose to take him trick or treating and he never did. He don't like to deal with him in public either. Its just sad that he had to miss the Holiday!!

havent been on here in a while. I have been busy with life things. Alot of things has been going on and I have been trying to catch it all and stay a float.

I am trying to finish up school, so we will see how that goes. It seems like every time I try something bad happens. I keep trying!!

The kids are getting big so fast. Ilana passed to the 7th grade and Riley is entering Kindergarten. I am feeling old for sure!!

As for work, I am on first now. They mandated me to do 12's so first shift (6a-6p) was my only option right now.

I just noticed in these pics the kids are wearing orange. Hmm I wonder why that happened to be...lol

Starting School!!

This week I started school. I just love it when they start full force. I am glad that I have been studying a little bit all summer. We have our first check off next week. We have to do handwashing, bedbath, bedpans, occupied bed changing. I am actually excited to get to start clinicals (which will be starting in a couple weeks). I am still kinda nervous, I hope I do better this time. I have been able to study alot more this time. We will see.I will keep you updated!


Ilana started school this week also. She is in the 6th grade this year. She is going to try to do band. I am excited to see how she plays. She has three concerts this year. She said she likes her classes so far so thats good.


Riley starts next week. He is going into the 6 hour class this year. I cant believe next year he will be starting kindergarten. He is growing so quick, but thats a whole year away.

Excited!

I am getting all of my stuff ready for fall and ready for school. I am excited to start school again... did I just say that? I actually am, I just hope everything pans out so I can do this. I took the kids down the Peir when my car was getting fixed we had fun despite the hot weather and all the walking we did .

Next week we are going to see The Jonas Brothers in Ohio thats gonna be exciting. I will be taking pictures.

A trying week

This week has been very trying. I had a court date for Riley's support and custody. It went well but the stress level was very high, due to the lack of trust with his father. Now that that is done he hasn't been calling as much, which is a plus too. He was just using me so I wouldn't tell them about his alcoholism, but little does he know I still can and I will if I find out that he is drinking while he has him and putting him in danger.

June 3rd, the date of Ricky's death. It has been 6 years already, I cant believe its been that long. It seems like yesterday still, and the pain is very much real. I hope he is very happy being Gods little helper and someones little angel. That is an important job! I can say it is getting easier to deal with. (the emotions part)

I got put on the list for the nursing program. I should find out this month whether I get in or not. we will see...

Lifes Challenges!!

This is my first blog on this sight Yeah for me!!

This is a new start to life as a single mother. I have been through quite a bit in my life. It seems that no matter how hard I try to make it through life, the more it keeps getting messed up. I guess the lord must think that I am strong enough to handle all of the challenges that I have been through. I have gotten stronger and will continue to get stronger as the time passed. I am not going to talk about the past, cause I want to forget everything and everyone who has hurt me. They are not worth my time and I am better than that to put up with what I have been through.

I am starting to focus on my kids and my life. I have alot of challenges ahead of me and I am ready for what is to come!! I am ready to work hard to achieve my goals!! So lets go for it!!
